Therefore, the content management team sits at the heart of GetYourGuide’s business and works closely with product, content design, brand, operations, and many other teams to define, test, and roll out industry-leading product content standards at scale. Our content touches every step of a traveler’s journey.

We are looking for an experienced and customer-centric leader to innovate how we think about and work with marketplace content. Located in Berlin, you will lead a team of project managers and operation experts, but also will collaborate with and influence many other teams at GetYourGuide. 

Up for the challenge to innovate how our customers experience marketplace content? 

Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Create and drive the long-term vision for Content Management with key stakeholders and  integrate it into the company's industry-leading initiatives 
  • Define the team strategy, expansion plans, and big bets (incl. scope, structure, KPIs, and targets for the team)
  • Develop and enable the team and team leads for best-in-class performance 
  • Provide thought leadership by identifying areas for growth and innovation to outstanding customer-centric content
  • Drive innovation, improvements, and scalability in our operations workflows, processes, and cross-departmental collaborations
  • Be a content advocate and build partnerships with key stakeholder departments including Localization, Product, UX, Sales, Brand, Marketing, and Customer Care

Your profile

  • 5+ years leading large high performing teams
  • 3+ years of experience (or very close collaboration) in content management, product content, product ops, or similar functions 
  • Proven experience in managing and developing a team with diverse skill sets and experience levels in a fast-growing environment, preferably e-commerce
  • Excellent and pragmatic problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks based on data, AB-tests, and user research insights
  • Strong proactive interpersonal skills and collaborative work-style with the ability to build relationships with leading stakeholders to drive innovation
  • Passion for content and experience managing customer-centric product content at scale, preferable in a marketplace context
  • Speak and write English fluently (additional languages are a plus)
