Silence is Not an Option. We Stand With the Black Community

The murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery, and the many who came before them, are abhorrent symptoms of deep and systemic racism. It permeates our lives and our society, and it must be dismantled.

We’ve been silent until now, but silence is complicity. And silence is not an option.

So we want to state, unequivocally, that Black lives matter, and that we stand with the Black community as they demand justice and seek transformation in the United States and around the globe. GetYourGuide opposes and condemns all forms of racism, bigotry, and hate.

To our worldwide community of travelers, guides and employees who are afraid, angered, and hurt, we want you to know that GetYourGuide sees you.

We at GetYourGuide know that we have our own role to play in fighting discrimination. We need to reflect on our own biases and privilege as we listen to Black voices in our team, our community, and our industry — and chart our course to action.

This is our first step.
